Have you thought about online or telephone counselling?
Both online and telephone counselling give you the opportunity to access counselling at a time and place which is convenient to you, in a confidential and supportive environment.
Online and telephone counselling can be as effective as the traditional face to face counselling but has the added convenience of –
No travelling Time
No transport costs
Online and telephone counselling might especially benefit –
People who work away from home
People who may have illness or mobility problems
People without the means to travel
You have the opportunity to direct your counselling by selecting the method of communication which you feel most comfortable with. You choose the time, the place, and the pace of your counselling to suit your own individual needs.
How it works

Online/Webcam counselling gives you the benefit of being able to visually see me, as you would in face to face counselling. Using an agreed platform, we will agree to meet at a time which has previously been agreed (either through email, or if your prefer, over the telephone). Sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Telephone counselling can be accessed via an ordinary telephone or through an agreed platform, using computer audio.
What sort of issues can I contact you about?
Both Online and telephone counselling may be able to help with a wide range of issues, including loneliness, chronic illness, disability, bereavement and many more.
Not all types of issues can be resolved through these mediums and I will advise you if I feel face to face counselling, or some other form of support might be more suitable for you. Where I consider that online counselling would not be the most suitable means of support, I will make every effort to assist you in a referral to a suitable alternative source of support.
